During this excitement-filled Easter egg hunt, exhibit spaces within the museum are divided up by children's age groups, so even the youngest treasure hunters will get their share of prizes and sweet treats. Afterward, drop by the crafts area for some added family fun. Sat Mar 24 9--11am, 11am, 11:45am. Brooklyn Children's Museum. $14, children under 1 free (includes museum admission). All ages.

Baby Chick Photo Shoot
Families on the hunt for personalized spring and Easter greeting cards are invited to make an appointment with PhotoOp NYC for a photo shoot with live baby chicks. Taking place in Central Park, each 30-minute shoot will cost $50 and appointments are required. Exact locations will be determined per appointment. Sat Mar 24 and Sun Mar 25 10am--3pm. Central Park. $50. All ages.

Eggs have been a symbol of rebirth for thousands of years. During this zoo workshop, kids learn about ova made by amphibians, reptiles, birds and other critters and design their own craft egg to take home. They'll also get a chance to participate in a traditional Easter egg hunt, with different editions for various age groups. Reservations required. Sun Mar 25 noon--3pm. Free with zoo admission, egg hunt additional $5 per child. Staten Island Zoo. Ages 3 to 10.
