Lower East Cider Festival

Time Out says

The Big Apple celebrates our favorite autumn beverage with its annual Cider Week celebration, and this year marks the first dedicated festival on the Lower East Side. If your tots love trips to the cider mill, they'll have a blast tasting different apple varieties, making their own caramel apples and carving shrunken apple heads right in Manhattan. Try cotton candy in autumnal flavors, snap a pic in the farm photo booth, pin the worm on the apple and let little ones get their faces painted. Live music and dancing with The Bowerie Boys and the Ring O'Bells Morris will entertain throughout the day. The festival will take place on Orchard St at Delancy St. All ages.
