Spring is here (even though snow is still in the forecast for the upcoming week!) and there's no better way for kids to jumpstart their renewed appreciation for the outdoors than with a visit to a local park. During the week of spring break (March 25 to 29), the City of New York Parks & Recreation will host Kids' Week at various city parks and nature centers. An Urban Park Ranger will host each event, including activities like guided wildlife exploration, educational talks, eco-friendly crafts and movies under the stars. With a focus on nature and wildlife, Kids' Week will provide children and their families with the opportunity to connect to the natural world around them—without even leaving the city.
