Statue of Liberty to reopen on July 4: Tickets on sale now
Tickets are now on sale for the reopening of the Statue of Liberty on Independence Day weekend 2013!
Thu May 9 2013
Back in March, we reported that the Statue of Liberty, one of our favorite family attractions, would be reopening on July 4 for the first time since Hurricane Sandy hit last fall. Now, in preparation for the holiday weekend, tickets to Lady Liberty are on sale at statuecruises.com. Visitors will have access to the statue's crown, pedestal, observation deck, museum and grounds; there will also be limited access to Ellis Island. Online reservations to the statue are strongly encouraged and we suggest you make them soon. We wouldn't be surprised if tickets for the July 4th holiday weekend sell out fast! In the meantime, families can still admire the statue's beauty on a cruise around Liberty Island—and get excited about a future walk up all of those steps.
