Get your gown ordered, your cravat ironed and possibly see if Amazon sells horses, because Secret Cinema has just announced its next immersive event in London this November and it’s themed around Bridgerton.

The bodice-heaving Netflix sensation will be parlayed into a three-hour ‘immersive experience [that] shall have you swoon’, promises Secret Cinema’s press release.

The location is, of course, a big secret at this stage but you can bet your last remaining shillings (after the horse and ballgown purchase) that it’ll be somewhere suitably Georgian and resplendent.

And the event itself? To quoth the organisers: ‘Whilst the main attraction of the evening is, naturally, the dance floor, there is plenty more to discover. ‘From duelling practice with the gentlemen to games of chance with the married ladies of the Ton, etiquette lessons in the drawing room to secret encounters in forbidden parts of the grounds. All to the sound of reimagined pop classics by our string quartet.’

Shut up, you had us at duelling.

In the spirit of the social strata in which Bridgerton is set, early-bird tickets aren’t available to any old riff-raff. You’ll need to register for the waiting list on the official site to get first dibs on pre-sale tickets for Monday, July 5 at 10am UK-time. Tickets go on general sale a day later. Prices are still under wraps.

Planning a holiday? You can take a guided tour of actual Bridgerton locations.

The best Netflix series and shows to binge-watch now.
