Sendor plays art-world Time Lord, with realist paintings that depict imaginary art installations from the future, created during the 2020s and ’30s. The resulting tableaux—made with exotic materials such as "liquid platinum on titanium" as well as "live human beings"—suggest an anachronistic look back the early 1900s from the vantage point of the mid-21st century.
