A sardonic sense of humor that can only be described as typically English runs through the work of this Brit sculptor, who imbues his Pop Art–like paeans to the everyday with a sense of decay and ruefulness. In one piece here, two lampposts have been transformed into a pair of legs, which seem to be running away from some kind of embarrassment.
