Time Out says

Vishniac (1897–1990) is best known for A Vanished World, his record of Jewish life in Eastern and Central Europe during the years between the World Wars. But his output—which included Berlin street scenes from the 1920s and ’30s, as well as science photography done in color—was far more diverse than the limited number of photos published in his lifetime would suggest. This survey collects all of the different strands of his work to cement his place in art history.
