“The Greatest Grid: The Master Plan of Manhattan 1811–2011”

To mark the 200th anniversary of the Commissioners’ Plan of 1811, which proposed Manhattan's numbered grid, this exhibit looks at the original document, as well as historical maps, photographs and clippings that illustrate the evolution of the plan.
