Time Out says

The city’s oldest museum takes a multifaceted approach to examining World War II. The exhibit, staged throughout the institution, incorporates more than 300 artifacts, including maps, radio broadcasts and images. The idea is to show both the city’s role in the conflict (as a hub for shipbuilding, among other ways) and the war’s impact on New York.
