The barbecue blowout of the season will be hitting Taste Talks Brooklyn on Sunday, September 14 at East River State Park. Presented by Mario Batali and Danny Bowien (Mission Chinese, Mission Cantina), the feast features 25 cult-status chefs like Ivan Orkin (Ivan Ramen), Daniel Delaney (Delaney BBQ, BrisketTown), and Max and Eli Sussman (The Cleveland and Mile End Deli, respectively) who’ll share 12 grills. Some chefs, like Osteria Morini’s Michael White, have even teamed up with non-foodie stars like Flushing rapper Action Bronson to dispatch dishes such as Thai-spiced porchetta with watercress, while Rob Newton (Wilma Jean, Nightingale 9) has partnered with New York Times food writer Oliver Strand to serve up barbecue-ginger duck with five-spice flatbread.
