Laugh your ass off at a lived staged reading of The Sandlot
"There's heroes and there's legends" and the folks behind A Drinking Game NYC are both. The group of performers is hosting a live staged reading of the classic '90s kid film with an adult twist—both the audience and the actors drink every time certain words, phrases and names are said. Just remember to drink responsibly, lest everyone starts yelling at you, "You're killing me, smalls!"
Littlefield, 8pm, $8-$10
Get your jeans customized on the spot at The Vintage Twin Pop Up
The Vintage Twin is popping up in Union Square for one week only and wants to help create your new favorite pair of jeans. Samantha Elias, the vintage twin herself, will be in store to help customers at the Jeanius Bar add shredding, holes, paint and more to your chosen pair of Levi's or Wranglers until they're just right. You can purchase dresses and skirts from $18, $14 tie-dye tees to rework in-store, and plenty of other vintage fare.

See Dirty Dancing in McCarren Park
Nobody puts baby in a corner (obviously) so head to McCarren Park early to grab a spot on the concrete (bring a cushion), and grab bites from food trucks and enjoy live music pre-show. Then settle into the dark themes of this supposedly romantic drama. We like to imagine Baby screaming "But Daddy, I love him!" a la The Little Mermaid.
McCarren Park, doors open at 6pm, film at sundown, free
