Time Out says

The latest edition of this cozy, inviting new-music celebration starts on May 14 with a program guest-curated by Sex and the City composer Douglas Cuomo and featuring the music of Carter Burwell, John Corigliano, Frank London, Huang Ruo and Cuomo himself (among others). The May 15 recital by powerhouse pianist Vicky Chow showcases pieces by Steve Reich, Donnacha Dennehy, Ryan Francis and Christopher Cerrone—and a world premiere from Florent Ghys. May 16 brings violists Jessica Meyer and Martha Mooke, playing their own works. The electronic-aided, song-based program on May 17, drawn up by composer Cerrone, includes music by Jacob Cooper, who is fresh off a fine first album for Nonesuch, Silver Threads. Mellissa Hughes, the soprano featured on that recording, will be on hand for the performance, which also has works by Cerrone, Ted Hearne, Andrew Norman and Eric Shanfield. The final concert, on May 18, focuses on two-violin arrangements of music by John Adams, Terry Riley, Nico Muhly and others. For complete details, see tribecanewmusic.org.
