There are many reasons why it must be summer. First, it was just Memorial Day weekend, which those in the know tell us is the season’s kick-off, despite all calendar-related evidence to the contrary. Second, as of this writing, the temperature is hovering around 90 degrees or so—and if that ain’t summery, we don’t know what is. Third—and most important—outdoor party season is in full swing. Huzzah! One of season’s returning faves is Tiki Disco, held in the backyard of Bushwick pizza palace
Roberta’s. If you’ve been there before, you know the drill—lots of beer swillin’ dancey-dance fun, with
Eli Escobar, Lloydski and Andy Pry serving up the rhythmic-motion-inducing goodness. Next edition: Sunday, June 24.
