DJ mix: Sleepy & Boo

Since Marquee reimagined itself as a somewhat more DJ-oriented club early this year, its Friday-night affair has hosted a stellar array of spinners, one that includes All Day I Dream’s Lee Burridge, Crosstown Rebel’s Damian Lazarus, deep-house vet Miguel Migs and the party-rockin’ Claude VonStroke. That’s largely due to the efforts of NYC nightlife power couple Sleepy & Boo, who have been booking the spot’s weekend-starting shindigs ever since the reopening—but on Friday, August 2, the pair themselves will be installed in the booth for a night of underground goodness. To mark the occasion, Sleepy & Boo have laid down their beats in this new DJ mix, a machine-tooled set of chugging techno rhythms.
