Sound Noir is back with another techno- and electronic-house–oriented hoedown, and once again, the lineup is killer. Basic Soul Unit is a talented Toronto producer who mixes the best bits of Detroit techno, deep house, dubstep and more into a brilliant brew; Brennan Green is the outsider-disco daddy behind the Chinatown imprint; and Lenny de la Passo runs the Thema label, home to envelope-pushing techno. Sound Noir residents Helping Hands and J Red complete the picture.
