Halloween III: Season of the Witch

Though it bears zero resemblance to the preceding installments in terms of plot, Wallace’s assured, anticorporate debut—about a crazed company president (Dan O’Herlihy) who plans to kill kids on Halloween with his fatal glow-in-the-dark products—got a strong endorsement from original director John Carpenter, who scored the fiendishly catchy jingles.
