Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

At first glance, this film adaptation certainly seems to have done right by author J.K. Rowling’s best-selling vision. But turns out the filmmakers have remained ploddingly loyal to Rowling’s story line, not to her work’s magical spirit.
