Strange Powers: Stephin Merritt and the Magnetic Fields

Not a show, exactly, tonight’s event is the New York premiere of Strange Powers—a documentary about Stephin Merritt and the Magnetic Fields codirected by none other than former TONY music editor Gail O’Hara. (Merritt was a frequent Time Out contributor back in the day.) Before the screening, Magnetic Field Claudia Gonson will perform a “musical monologue.”
