First Annual Brooklyn Beer & Wine Fest

This Bed-Stuy booze fest brings together oenophiles and beer buffs for a day of tastings, classes and live music, from YRB Magazine and Bed-Vyne Wine. In between throwing back pints of Captain Lawrence and Saranac, novices can brush up on their hops knowledge at a Brewing 101 talk with Kelly Harris of Dallas's Homebrew Headquarters, while wine lovers can kick back with varietals from locals like Red Newt Cellars and Sheldrake Point Vineyards. Bites—including sliders from Between the Buns—will be on sale throughout the day. After you've had your fill, catch live sets by DJ CEO, performance artist Dasan Ahanu and soul rockers (I Am) Isis.
