Harlem, New York has an ever-growing collection of bars, restaurants and shops to discover, so here are the best

Apollo Theater

Harlem, New York is most notable for its exuberant gospel choirs, soul food restaurants, and New York attractions such as the Apollo Theater, but it’s also the home to Harlem Renaissance greats such as Langston Hughes, Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong. Of course, there is so much more to explore, including some excellent clothing stores and cultural institutions such as the Studio Museum in Harlem and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
