Many trailers tell you to "see it in IMAX," but be careful: Not all IMAX theaters are created equal. Instead of a phony converted screen, Lincoln Center is Manhattan's only legitimate option, featuring impeccable projection standards and a top-notch audio system. You can even reserve specific seats.

The primate Caesar is back—grayer, a little heavier under the eyes, prone to the measured pronouncements of a politician who’s been battle-tested. Notice what he’s not anymore, though: a special effect. This is a sentient being. If the broodingly ...

You might already know how the May 1940 evacuation of France’s Dunkirk turned out: More than 300,000 troops, mainly British ones, escaped from the beach while being bombarded by the Nazis. But the power of Christopher Nolan’s harrowing, unusual dr...

Absolutely love having a real IMAX theater in the neighborhood - just went here to see the new Star Wars, purchased tickets online the day before and got to choose our seats. I love going into a movie with a solid gameplan instead of having to arrive super early and scramble for seats then sit through 30min of previews...here, we get to show up just in time to enjoy the flick without having to deal with anyone asking us if we can "move down" to accommodate someone.
