50 Years of Cassettes

Silent Barn , Bushwick Sunday March 17 2013 16:00
You thought cassette tapes went away with the advent of the oh-so-perfect compact disc. But the soulfully crotchety format has had a major resurgence among indie-music purveyors for years now, and some of its most ardent latter-day advocates—Aki Onda, Rinus van Alebeek, G. Lucas Crane and Emmanuel Ferrand among them—will be playing during this eight-hour party cum cassette-culture flea market.
