An Evening with Thomas Adès and The Tempest

In the same week as The Tempest's New York debut, composer Thomas Adès and singers Simon Keenlyside, Audrey Luna, Kate Lindsey and Iestyn Davies perform Tempest-inspired works by Adès, Ives, Purcell, Stravinsky and Tippett, at a venue vastly different from the Met. Adès, himself a talented pianist, performs three Stravinsky songs for the piano as well as an original arrangement of "Intermezzo (King Alonso)" from Sibelius's Tempest.
