Bright Vermont singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell presents a concert version of Hadestown, her folk opera based on a postapocalyptic depression. Among the guests featured on her recording of the work are Justin Vernon and Ani DiFranco; Vernon's role is handled here by another singer, but we note that a mystery guest is promised in the role DiFranco sang on Mitchell's record.
