Bill Frisell: Reflections on the Bristol Sessions

Guitarist Bill Frisell, downtown-scene maverick turned all-American tone-painter and storyteller, hooks up with rootsy singers, songwriters and instrumentalists Buddy Miller and Carrie Rodriguez for a show inspired by the 1927 studio summit of Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter Family, viewed by many as the start of country music as we know it.
