Time Out says

This is the fourth annual boat ride in honor of Marcus Garvey, the Jamaican activist and entrepreneur who (along with many other accomplishments) was the founder of the Black Star Line, which promoted the return of the African diaspora to their ancestral lands. Though you won't be traveling that far tonight, the party, held aboard the Harbor Lights, is packed with selectors, including Gringo Stateside Revolution, Jah Wise Tippatone, Natural Mystic Soldier, Ethiopia's DJ Sirak and Ghana's Soul Selector. It will also be packed with free Jamaican and African vittles—yummy!
