Time Out says

Indie-pop Canucks Broken Social Scene return to NYC to celebrate the release of the collective’s excellent recent LP, Forgiveness Rock Record, which showcases the band’s warmth and versatility on songs like “Sentimental X’s” and “All to All.” Despite losing high-profile members Leslie Feist and Emily Haines (Metric) to other projects in recent years, Broken Social Scene clearly remains just as comfortable and compatible as ever. Opening is the long-running Chicago band the Sea and Cake, a jazzy indie-pop band centered around Sam Prekop's breathy croon.
