Bushwick Book Club: Despair by Nabokov

A bit more proactive than your average book club, this excellent monthly event asks songwriters to read a book and then pen a few original songs about the work for a concert. Tonight’s participants will be riffing on Nabokov's Despair—and performers include Corn Mo, Sweet Soubrette and Susan Hwang of the Debutante Hour (check out the group at timeoutnewyork.com/thevolume).
