A bit more proactive than your average book club, this excellent monthly event asks songwriters to read a book and then pen a few original songs about the work for a concert. Tonight’s participants will be celebrating Mark Twain's birthday (he'd turn 127 if we lived forever). There will be amusingly themed snackage on hand as well. What more could you ask for? Free entry? Done.
