Given that their big hit was "Zoot Suit Riot," it's hardly any surprise that Oregon's Cherry Poppin' Daddies were virtually synonymous with the swing revival and its hipster fans. But the band always drew from a more eclectic pool of influences, including punk and ska, which is probably why it's still working long after swing dried up.
