Daniel Lanois's Black Dub + Rocco DeLuca

Daniel Lanois is the famed producer who has loaned his watery sounds to solid latter-day efforts by the likes of Dylan (Time Out of Mind) and Young (the recent Le Noise). He also worked on The Joshua Tree, So, Brandon Flowers's solo album and…let's just say, a lot more. With Black Dub, Lanois creates smoky (if not conventionally dub) sounds with ace drummer Brian Blade, bassist Daryl Johnson and the singer Trixie Whitley. Opening is the rootsy singer-songwriter Rocco DeLuca.
