Dean Wareham + Cheval Sombre

Dean Wareham has had an impressive few years: His post-Luna band, Dean & Britta, released a superb DVD matching their music with Andy Warhol's screen tests, and he launched a neato record label, Double Feature. All of which makes tonight's show, in which Wareham plays the songs of his ’80s trio, Galaxie 500 (minus that band's Damon Krukowski and Naomi Yang), even more backward than it might first seem. Don't miss Cheval Sombre, whose deeply psychedelic songs come swathed in an enigmatic haze.
