Bard's SummerScape festival continues to serve up rare operatic gems with top-notch talent, this year bringing Franz Schreker's 1910 opera to its feet for the first time in the States. Thaddeus Strassberger (who helmed a mesmerizing Les Huguenots at Bard last season) directs a cast that includes Yamina Maamar as Greta and Matthias Schulz as Fritz.
