Endangered Blood

The players who make up Endangered Blood should be familiar to any fan of forward-thinking NYC jazz: reedists Chris Speed and Oscar Noriega, and drummer Jim Black. Tonight the quartet—joined for this gig by bassist Michael Formanek, subbing for core member Trevor Dunn—shows off its good-natured yet appealingly turbulent interplay as it plays behind a new sophomore full-length, Work Your Magic.
