Helloween

The German power-metal vets, coming up on their 30th anniversary next year, support their latest hyperbombastic opus, Straight Out of Hell. As expected, the disc ain't likely to change any minds: Either you worship Helloween's prog-thrash daredevilry, florid shredding and hammy, almost Broadway choruses, or you're a stupefied (or, more likely, simply oblivious) outsider.
