Jesse Stacken Trio + Michaël Attias's Spun Tree

Pianist Jesse Stacken and his triomates—bassist Eivind Opsvik and drummer Jeff Davis—purvey thoughtful inside-outside jazz: sometimes turbulent, sometimes placid. Here the band plays a 10:30pm set, celebrating a new CD, Bagatelles for Trio. Saxist Michaël Attias opens at 9pm, leading a group that includes trumpeter Ralph Alessi, pianist Matt Mitchell, bassist Sean Conly and drummer Tom Rainey.
