Northside Festival. Brooklyn art-punk quartet Les Savy Fav usually answers its own "Who Rocks the Party?" question live—due largely to frontman Tim Harrington's deranged-gym-teacher stage antics and the sheer wall of noise the band creates. As stalwarts of the regionally driven '90s indie scene (Chapel Hill, NC, division), Polvo was recognizably of its time, but the group’s penchant for East Asian–influenced scales and tunings was always distinctive. Last year the band returned with its first full-length in more than a decade, the excellent In Prism, so expect to hear a good portion of that at tonight's shindig.
