Pictureplane + Autre Ne Veut

Denver’s Pictureplane is the electronic-pop project of Travis Egedy. Characterized as yet another chillwave act back in 2007 (he toured with Washed Out and Small Black), Egedy’s music was spookier than that of his peers (as you can hear on his druggy debut album, Dark Rift). This year's successor, Thee Physical, clears away the fuzz in pursuit of crisper dance music, without forsaking any of the songs' physicality. A good thing.
