Rhett Miller + Julia Haltigan

Rhett Miller's Old 97's were never going to get Wilco-level attention for their spot-on alt-country, but the act remains one of the best bar bands in the land. Miller is now touring his fourth solo album, a sweetly rootsy affair, and on this well-matched bill he's joined by NYC singer-songwriter Julia Haltigan, who looks and sounds like a rockabilly Scarlett Johansson—a singer who holds an obvious affection for Sun-era Elvis on the bluesy tunes of her latest, Julia Haltigan and the Hooligans.
