Time Out says
On No Need for Words, Sean Jones’s fifth album for Michigan label Mack Avenue, the hornman ponders love from a variety of angles. Lead trumpeter for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra until last year, Jones gives good swagger, but he’s also a compelling balladeer. What's more, the album highlights the second-nature chemistry Jones forged with saxophonist Brian Hogans, pianist Orrin Evans, bassist Luques Curtis and drummer Obed Calvaire. All are accounted for here, save that John Davis subs for Calvaire on Tue 31.
