Sub:Sessions One

The woofers of Love's mighty sound system get a workout tonight, thanks to this bass-music bash presented by DubSpot, Konkrete Jungle, Halcyon and Brooklyn Radio. The DJs and artists include Destroy All Concept's Dub Gabriel, Dutty Artz's Matt Shadetek, Halcyon's LionDub, Subatomic Sound System's Emch and Adios Babylon's DJ Kiva; Jahdan Blakkamoore, Spoek Mathambo and dub poet Infinity rock the mike. The night doubles as a release party for the new Chrome Optimism (Subatomic Sound), an album from dub master Lee Scratch Perry and David Lynch (!) in collaboration with Vienna's Dubblestandart, featuring remixes from a host of the scene's players.
