Superchunk + Let's Wrestle

Superchunk’s importance has been eclipsed by that of Merge, the indie label launched by two of its members to release their band's records, and later the home of Neutral Milk Hotel, the Magnetic Fields, Arcade Fire, etc. But Superchunk itself—which returns with Majesty Shredding, its first album since 2001—remains beloved. Opening is the smart British trio Let’s Wrestle, whose debut album, In the Court of the Wrestling Let’s, came out earlier this year on Merge. The group has an ear for the absurd.
