The World/Inferno Friendship Society continues to purvey theatrical party rock—sort of like AM Gold as interpreted by a drunken klezmer band—on its recent full-length, The Anarchy and the Ecstasy. The band's live show is both charmingly glitzy and powerfully surreal. Ska-scene mainstays the Pietasters set the stage.
