Vaz + Dead Rider + Bbigpigg

Todd Rittmann, former guitarist for baffling art-punks U.S. Maple, now fronts the equally baffling yet decidedly more sultry Dead Rider (once known as D. Rider). The band's latest, The Raw Dents, suggests a more shadowy, menacing take on Dirty Projectors' groove-oriented, hypermeticulous art pop. Tonight Dead Rider plays in between two fine local noise-rock outfits.
