New Jersey's Wreaths serve up psych-tinged indie rock marked by reverb-heavy vocals, post–Crazy Horse/Sonic Youth guitar haze and tempos that take their sweet time. Also on board are paisley-evoking garage-pop mainstays—and fellow Garden Staters—the Black Hollies, as well as Pennsylvania's John "Brother JT" Terlesky, whose bent psychedelic rock recalls both the excesses of classic glam and the druggy insularity of the home-recording tradition.
