Live photos: Sufjan Stevens dazzles at Prospect Park

Surely you saw our exclusive video interview with Brooklyn bard Sufjan Stevens—the self-taught prodigy is now wrapping up his legendary Age of Adz world tour with two Celebrate Brooklyn shows in Prospect Park. TONY photographer Virginia Rollinson was there last night to capture the magic. And what a spectacle it was: The album's retrofuturistic sounds were complemented by a spacey, sci-fi theme that included trippy light projections, neon-illuminated and winged musicians, robotic dance moves and a flurry of balloons. Though the show was obviously heavy on the latest record's material (such as the beautiful "Futile Devices" and 25-minute "Impossible Soul"), the magnificent set ended with melancholy fan favorites "Casimir Pulaski Day" and "Chicago." If you didn't make it to last night's outdoor psychedelic blowout, tickets are still available for tonight's show!
