We fell for Simon Amstell, the subversive British TV star, when he toured NYC with his confessional show Numb last summer. Now the deadpan neurotic is going wide with his first US TV special, the just-as-cheerfully titled Do Nothing, which premieres Saturday on BBC America. Though Nothing (which Amstell toured before Numb) features no bits about hate-fucking Justin Bieber, it's a worthwhile watch that delves into Amstell's familiar themes of loneliness and longing for connection.
