For years, Bond's clothing store offered two pairs of pants with every suit, but the deal is over: The space has been transformed into a Italian restaurant by Trattoria Dell'Arte owner Shelly Fireman. In the open kitchen, chef Branda de Olivero shows off the makings of dinner, including piles of fresh mozzarella, salami, seafood and roasted meats, and turns out hearty dishes such as open-faced meatball lasagna, and polenta topped with braised beef, fresh sausage and porcini. Fireman kept some of the building's original mosaic floors and the 1940s artwork he discovered in the basement.
