Rosamunde's originated in San Francisco, and I swear you get that vibe as soon as you walk in the bar. The bartenders look and act (alternative and kindly, respectively) like they're from San Francisco. Naturally, the beers on tap are always good and everchanging (check Beermenu.com for its most updated list). Rosamunde's is pretty chill and never becomes loud or overwhelming, despite the fact that it's on Bedford Ave in Williamsburg. My favorite thing about Rosamunde's is the sausages: a huge variety, all delicious, even the vegan ones, which I choose to eat as an omnivore. Try the vegan apple and sage or the duck with fig and brandy.
One of my favorite solo brunch spots! I like to sit by the window and people watch while the live band plays and I eat eggs benedict, always with the cheddar sausage and incredible potatoes. Do not skip out on the delicious fries, or the six dipping sauces you can choose from! My favorite part of this bar is that, while it's popular, it's never too crowded or loud. I only go to bars where I don't have to push people to get a seat, plus I like the early thirties crowd. And there's dozens of beers on tap that they change regularly—it's the one place I can usually count on to have Brooklyn Brewery's Sorachi Ace on tap.
